Participants will actively engage in panel discussions focused on available cross-border trade, investment and business attraction resources aimed at driving economic development in the Arizona and Sonora region. Topics to be explored will include: business organizations, real property, banking and financing, tax regimes and incentives, intellectual property, import/export regulations, labor and employment, the importance of socially responsible development initiatives and much more.
Date & Attendance Requirements: October 3-4, 2019. While Thursday’s dinner is optional, active participation by each participant during Friday’s Participant Discussions is essential.
Activities: Participants spend the bulk of their time in facilitated discussions designed to build consensus for future actions. This year, in cooperation with the Financial Legal Services Committee of the Arizona-Mexico Commission, participants will develop recommendations for the creation of an electronic cross-border business guide between Arizona and Mexico.
The last day for cancellations and refunds is Wednesday, September 25, 2019.
Meal Programs: Registration for this event includes meals and feature speakers on the topic. Each participant can register a guest to enjoy the Friday evening meal for $65 USD.
Cost: In addition to the cost of your lodging during the Town Hall, the cost for meals and registration is $150 USD.
